Having spent 18 years working in the property sector in South Wales for various large estate agency businesses including Halifax and Peter Alan, Laura decided to go it alone and set up Daniel Matthew in January 2015. She is a member of the National Residents Landlord Association (NRLA) and holds a license with Rent Smart Wales.
Full of drive, energy and enthusiasm, Laura wanted to create a business that does things differently with great service at the heart of everything. Clients regularly praise Laura and the wider team for their proactive and professional approach – feedback that is testament to what sets Daniel Matthew apart from the competition.
Senior Sales Executive
Emma has been a valuable member of our Bridgend team since 2018 and loves the buzz of the job.
With responsibility for valuations and negotiations, Emma thrives on helping our clients to buy and sell including negotiating offers and advising on the marketing of properties. She holds a Rent Smart Wales license. In her spare time, she has recently learnt to ride a motorbike and enjoys regular exercise plus some retail therapy.
Lettings Manager
Responsible for rentals in Bridgend, Sandra joined Daniel Matthew in 2015 and now has responsibility for our rental portfolio. This includes liaising with landlords and tenants, arranging viewings, managing safety requirements and coordinating maintenance contractors.
Every day brings a new challenge for Sandra which is exactly what she loves. A real team player, she is also particularly fond of art and craft and often makes some beautiful gifts as donations for our community fundraising initiatives. She holds a Rent Smart Wales license.
Senior Sales Executive
Helen has spent her 30 year career in the property industry; working for new home developers and as a Director of Payton Jewell Caines.
With a wealth of experience, Helen joined Daniel Matthew on a part-time basis in August 2021 and now advises our clients on all aspects of sales and rentals including valuation, negotiation and sales progression. She holds a Rent Smart Wales license and her spare time is spent walking with friends and travelling with her children.
Branch Manager
Louise has been with us since day one and was appointed as our Branch Manager in Barry in February 2021 having previously worked in our Bridgend office for six years.
Instrumental to our growth, Louise is now responsible for all aspects of sales, rentals, marketing and office administration for Daniel Matthew in Barry. From creating 360 degree virtual tours to negotiating offers, she loves her job and takes real pride in supporting our clients through the process of buying, selling and renting. She holds a Rent Smart Wales license.

Having joined Daniel Matthew in January 2021 from Peter Alan, Hayley is a Sales Progressor in our Barry branch with responsibility for arranging viewings and discussing feedback with vendors.
Hayley loves her job and takes great pride in helping our clients to find their dream home. She’s particularly skilled at negotiating the challenges of buying and selling so can always be relied upon to do everything possible to get a deal done. She holds a Rent Smart Wales license.
Administrative Assistant
With a passion for property, Rosh joined Daniel Matthew in May 2022 and loves being part of our happy team.
She is our brilliant Administrative Assistant who has the important job of making sure that we comply with standards and processes including identity checks, file management and liaison with solicitors who are acting for our vendors and buyers. She holds a Rent Smart Wales license.
Sales and Rental Negotiator
Having joined Daniel Matthew in August 2021, Janine spends her working week conducting viewings and negotiating offers on properties that are for sale and rent. She holds a Rent Smart Wales license.
Popular with vendors and landlords alike, Janine loves the variety of her job and really enjoys meeting new people. She’s a really important member of our team but when she isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her friends and family.
Senior Branch Valuer
Lorraine joined our team in Barry in October 2022 as a Senior Valuer having spent the last 35 years working in the local property industry for estate agents including Peter Alan, Chris Davies and West Quay.
With responsibility for valuations and viewings, Lorraine has fitted straight in with the Daniel Matthew family and now loves helping our clients to find their perfect home. She’s particularly proud of our professional yet personal approach and shares our commitment to always putting clients first. She’s also a keen walker and loves dogs, especially her shih-tzus Pablo and Teddy.
Trainee Sale Negotiator
With a background in retail, Jodie joined Daniel Matthew in January 2023.
Customer service comes naturally to Jodie. She’s a real team player and is great at coming up with new ideas and getting tasks completed on time. Our clients love her can-do attitude and friendly smile.
